Mu Se

Mu Se is a border town with a border town feel.  Going into China? Got Visa? C’mon up! Otherwise, there is little reason to come, unless you want to buy cheap Chinese goods on the black market. (Not recommended!) Mu Se is 190 km from Lashio and sits on the Shweli River which marks the border, and is THE main crossing between Myanmar and China, Yunnan Province.

Other border crossings are at Lwe-ge, Namkhan, Kun Lone, Mongla and Kyu Koke — in case you were curious about doing some luminous photography.
