Endless Beach Chill

7 Days/ Chaung Tha Beach – Ngwe Saung Beach
Let’s Get Started!
The endless beach at Ngwe Saung isn’t exactly endless, but it may as well be. Who’s gonna hoof 14-kilometers of sand when they’re on holiday? Fine, you guys use your feet at 4km per hour, and I’ll use my eyes at 186,000 miles per second. Meet you back here for Happy Hour!Ngwe Saung will one day surpass Ngpali as Myanmar’s most visited beach, but that day is still a long way off. Most of that 14K is mostly empty, and a good chance to play out your Robinson Crusoe fantasies. (No, not that one).

The definitely finite beach at Ngpali is seafood lover’s paradise. Many a chef specializing in sea gastronomy are here competing for the affections of your taste bud arrays. Glorious Andaman lobster, incredible grouper steaks, Indian Ocean mussels, crab, squid and shrimp, blue freshwater shrimp, etc., all slathered up in a variety of Burmese sauces and spices. Sweet & sour garlic, coconut red curry, Burmese tomato curry, Ngpali mango chili… Oh, and don’t forget the shrimp stuffed avocado. “Honey, we’re going out for seafood!”

For itinerary please see Itinerary tab above. For more Beach Chills of any design or duration, please enquire. We love to hear from you! Benn-home

The sample itinerary below is just one of many possibilities. These two beaches are easy access to each other, while Ngapali needs to be part of a separate itinerary.
Day 1: Yangon Arrival
You may spend the day in Yangon and see the sights or drive directly to Chaung Tha Beach.Day 2: Chaung Tha Beach
Afternoon relaxing and exploring this working beach. Very Burmese, not many tourists. Fresh seafood dinner and fire juggler entertainment right on the sand.

Day 3: Chaung Tha – Full Day Chill
Chill, sun, swim, enjoy the locals, melt into a massage…repeat. Or take a fishing trip in the Bay of Bengal!

Day 4: Chaung Tha – Ngwe Saung Beach
Relaxing morning followed a scenic drive along the coast. A few very nice hotels have recently popped up at Ngwe Saung, including the Aureum. Swim in the sea or in the pool overlooking it. Outstanding seafood.

Day 5: – Ngwe Saung Beach – Full Day Chill
Go for a jog on the nearly deserted 14 km beach, or sleep in and enjoy a fabulous fresh seafood and champagne brunch. Go on a boat and/or fishing trip, laze away, get a massage under the swaying palms with four expert hands at work, get a tan, explore the beach…

Day 6: Ngwe Saung Beach – Elephant Camp Safari
Visit the Ngwe Saung Elephant Camp in the nearby jungle forest for a half day safari. Afternoon of beachy bliss chill capped with a special farewell dinner at our favorite Silver Beach restaurant, where you’ll be treated like royalty, only better.

Day 7: Return to Yangon – Departure
After breakfast it’s back to Yangon and your departure flight. You’ll miss this place!
